Summary
Driving-Tests.org believes that electric cars can have a truly bright future in North America and is committed to get teens interested in clean electric vehicles by being the first non-governmental organization to offer a program for Tesla Model 3 owners with aspiring drivers.

Driving-Tests.org (DTO) is doing its part in accelerating the advent of sustainable transport by launching a new program for Tesla Model 3 owners with children who are aspiring drivers. The first one hundred Tesla Model 3 owners who sign up can receive up to $500 to cover the cost of their children’s in-car driver’s education.

DTO offers learner’s permit practice tests online to help users become safer, more knowledgeable drivers. The company is committed to helping reduce road crashes, injuries, and fatalities among drivers and motorcyclists by helping them get better trained before they get on the road .

In March 2017, DTO surveyed some 158,000 visitors to its website, asking them for their views on electric cars, autonomous vehicles, and brands that are innovating in these areas. We asked these visitors, “Would you choose an electric vehicle over a comparably priced gasoline-powered vehicle?” Only 30 percent of Millennials (ages 13–35) responded that they would. However, these young respondents were enthusiastic about the Tesla brand; a plurality believed that Tesla would sell more electric and self-driving vehicles than other manufacturers.

“Our big idea here is to get teens interested in clean electric vehicles,” said Andrei Zakhareuski, DTO’s founder and CEO. “By providing a financial incentive for young drivers to get behind-the-wheel experience with Tesla cars sooner, we’re hoping to introduce them to quality electric vehicles early in their journey to becoming fully licensed drivers.”

Driving-Tests.org (DTO) currently partners with over 1,900 public libraries across the United States to make its permit practice tests accessible through the libraries’ computers. DTO also has several national non-profit partnerships with the National Safety Council, National Organizations for Youth Safety, American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association, and the Roadway Safety Foundation. In 2016, DTO’s site had over 16 million unique visitors.

About Driving-Tests.org

Location: Headquarters in Hamilton, ON, Canada. Remote team located around the world.

Driving-Tests.org (DTO) is a part of Elegant E-Learning, Inc., a seven-year old company with a proven track record of revolutionizing and providing free online resources for English teachers and instructors. With our parent company’s site BusyTeacher.org, now in its ninth year of operations as a trusted web presence for teachers worldwide, we aimed to fill a gap in the educational marketplace. Driving-Tests.org is part of a plan to do the same for driver safety by making free permit practice tests written by experts available to anyone who wants to study, along with online copies of official state or province study guides. To help achieve this goal, our company has also created driving permit practice sites for the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, India and Canada.
